Spaces & Value-add Services
Cold Storage, Dry Storage and Maker Spaces
Centralized storage to facilitate growth and access to regional distribution. Enabling local food businesses to stage their products locally for wholesale/institutional buyers and direct-to-eater sales means reduced transportation time, miles, and emissions.
Licensed Shared Commercial Kitchen Space
Local food producers can lease shared commercial production kitchen space and engage in an environment and food community where collaboration, shared learning, and mutual support is emphasized.
Further expanding the community’s knowledge and understanding of food, nutrition, home cooking, seasonal eating, etc. by providing a kitchen space where community members can share their skills and knowledge with others. This space is not a commercial production kitchen.
Onsite retail space allows new and emerging regional food producers to gain retail experience and access to other wholesale markets through distribution – an on-ramp to entering larger channels in the future. The retail space creates an additional local access point for the general public to purchase regionally made, regionally sourced foods and goods.
Restaurant and cafe spaces will highlight the bounty of our region and the creativity of local chefs.
